Web Design That Feels Clear, Thoughtful, and Supportive

Small businesses and nonprofits deserve websites that feel professional, welcoming, and easy to use.

Based in New York’s Capital Region, I help small businesses and nonprofits present themselves clearly online—with websites that feel calm, modern, and built to last.

A website shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
It should feel like something you’re proud to share with friends and families—something that reflects your business and helps people want to connect with you.

The goal is simple:

Create a website that supports your business—not complicates it.

A Simpler Approach to Web Design

Many web design services create an overwhelming feelings for small business owners—confusing with scopes, technical language, and features they don’t actually need.

My approach is different. I focus on what matters:

  • What your website needs to do
  • How visitors should engage with it
  • What will actually help your business grow

Sometimes that means a full website. Sometimes a streamlined one-page site works better.

The goal isn’t more pages—it’s the right solution.

Who I Work With

I work with small businesses and organizations that are doing meaningful work—but need a website that communicate their messages clearly.

This often includes:

  • Local service businesses
  • Health and medical practices
  • Nonprofits and community organizations
  • Consultants and professional services
  • Churches and mission-driven groups

Most of them are not trying to be flashy. They just want a website that feels clear, professional, and easy for people to connect with.

Why I Use WordPress

I primarily build with WordPress because it gives you:

  • Full ownership of your website
  • Flexibility to grow over time
  • Strong performance and SEO potential
  • Easy content updates without technical stress

It’s a platform that supports you long-term—not one you outgrow quickly.

Rooted in the New York Capital District

While I work with clients in different locations, much of my work supports businesses and nonprofits across:
Albany · Saratoga Springs · Troy · and nearby communities

Hi, I’m Dáre.

I work directly with small businesses and nonprofits to design websites that feel clear, professional, and easy to manage.

No layers of account managers.

No confusing handoffs.
Just a straightforward process—from first conversation to launch.

Before web design, I spent over 30 years as an environmental engineer, with a master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering. That experience shaped how I approach every project today—focused on clarity, structure, and building things that work reliably over time.

Most clients come to me because:

  • Their current website feels outdated or unclear
  • They’re not getting inquiries or engagement
  • They want something more professional—but not overly complicated

What they usually need isn’t “more features.”

They need clarity, structure, and a website that actually works—and that’s what I focus on.
