Project Overview

Keobi Restaurant is a unique addition to the Albany dining scene and is recognized as the first African restaurant in Albany, New York. Remarkably, the restaurant opened during one of the most challenging times for the hospitality industry — the same week COVID-19 shutdowns began. Despite the difficult start, the restaurant quickly gained attention for its authentic flavors and cultural experience. The website launched the same day the business opened and became the best means to to reach the business at those difficult times.

Design Approach

The website was designed to reflect the restaurant’s vibrant identity while making it easy for visitors to explore the menu, learn about the cuisine, and find the location. The layout emphasizes food imagery and simple navigation so customers can quickly access key information from both desktop and mobile devices.
