Overview

Chasing Health Integrative Care is a nurse practitioner-led medical weight loss and wellness clinic founded by Dr. Tina Omorogbe (DNP, FNP-BC). Moving beyond standard reactive treatments, the practice focuses on identifying the root causes of metabolic, hormonal, and lifestyle imbalances.

The objective was to transition the practice’s digital footprint into a highly performant, localized landing page capable of capturing regional search intent and streamlining patient onboarding.

The Challenge

The practice needed a professional online presence that would:

  • Build trust with prospective patients
  • Clearly explain available healthcare services
  • Simplify appointment requests
  • Perform well on mobile devices
  • Support future growth through search engine optimization

Beyond creating an attractive website, the goal was to develop a digital experience that guided visitors from their health concerns to scheduling a consultation.

Initial Project Goals

  • Local SEO Mastery: Position the clinic prominently for Capital Region health and wellness searches.
  • Conversion Optimization: Build a friction-free pipeline for booking consultations and patient portal access.
  • Performance-First Architecture: Ensure ultra-fast mobile and desktop loading speeds to reduce bounce rates.
  • Scalable Framework: Deploy on a reliable ecosystem (WordPress + Kadence) to allow easy expansion into multi-page service directories.
  • Mobile-First Approach: The design also emphasizes accessibility, responsive design, and long-term flexibility using WordPress and the Kadence framework.

My Approach

Instead of immediately presenting a list of services, the homepage first acknowledges common health challenges to create an emotional connection with visitors.

Other strategy include:

  • Lightweight Infrastructure: Configured WordPress with the Kadence theme to maximize Core Web Vitals right out of the box.
  • Conversion-Focused Wireframing: Drafted a clean, conversion-oriented layout featuring a strategic distribution of trust signals (reviews, board certifications) and immediate calls-to-action.
  • Local Asset Mapping: Structured dedicated sections optimized for regional target areas (Albany, Troy, Schenectady) and local insurance providers (CDPHP, MVP).
  • Asset Pipeline Setup: Established shared workflows via Google Drive to streamline client asset collection (photography, compliance copy).

Project Note

This portfolio features the original WordPress website concept I developed for this healthcare practice. During the design process, the client decided to pursue a different creative direction and completed the project on another platform.

The final website closely follows the layout, structure, and user experience established in my original design. This portfolio focuses on the strategy behind that design—including conversion-focused messaging, local SEO, accessibility, performance, and scalability—which reflects my approach to building websites designed to grow with a business.
